The Fire Center has two locations to serve Texas. The Austin location open in 2009 follow by the Stafford (Houston) in July 2010. Working together, we support the region from Brownsville to Waco and from San Antonio to Beaumont. With our new lease in Austin, we will have a combined total of just over 5200 square feet of workable space.
The Fire Center provides a multitude of services to Fire Departments and emergency organizations. They are as follows:
1. The Fire Center has developed into a premier service center for Central Texas Fire Departments providing NFPA 1851 clean, inspection, and repair services for bunker gear.
2. Specialized cleaning and decontamination of gear.
3. Sewing repairs on fire engine soft goods such as seat covers, hose bed covers, medical bags etc.
4. Training – Awareness level training on the importance of correctly maintaining individual PPE.
Manufacturing:
Over years, working with Fire Departments and individuals, The Fire Center (TFC) began to create and manufacture items with innovative design features for firefighters and fire departments.
The Fire Center manufactures its own line of products. These items are geared for the individual under the name of Turnoutz USA. Our line includes:
1. Soft goods - Laptop Bags, hydration packs, PPE gear bags, backpacks.
2. Leather goods - suspenders, helmet fronts, wallets, belts.
Our other manufactured products are geared specifically towards the Fire Departments. These items include:
1. Custom items such as hose bed covers, staging tarps.
2. Accountability systems – company identifiers, name plates, bottle covers.
3. Specialty bags – hydrant bag, RIT bag, compartment tool bag.
4. Leather items – helmet fronts, hose jackets, radio cases.
